Cowboys Activating Rookie DE DeMarcus Lawrence From I.R.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Cowboys are activating rookie DE DeMarcus Lawrence from injured reserve.

Dallas was forced to place Lawrence on injured reserve with the designated to return just days before the start of the 2014 regular season after he suffered a broken foot.

The Cowboys have surprising held up well over the course of the first eight weeks of the season, but there is no question that getting some pass-rush help in the form of Lawrence will be a welcomed addition to their defensive line.

During his two years at Boise State, Lawrence recorded 120 tackles, 34 tackles for a loss, 20 sacks, seven forced fumbles, one interception and a fumble recovery.

  1. The Dallas Cowboys will be very pleased with Lawrence once he’s healthy and on the field. They got a steal drafting him where they did. He’ll replace Ware (as they planned) or maybe even turn out to be better. This is my first comment on this site, great website by the way. Bookmarked/Favorites!
