Cowboys Also Among Suitors For WR Kenny Britt

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Cowboys are among the potential suitors for free agent WR Kenny Britt, as they expect WR Terrance Williams to depart in free agency.

Dallas doesn’t have a lot of cap space to work with this offseason, so it could be difficult for them to outbid other teams in need of receiver help.

Britt should have a wide market, as he’s already been linked to the Redskins, Eagles and 49ers.

Britt, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Titans back in 2009. He spent five years in Tennessee before signing on with the Rams in 2014.

The elected to bring Britt back on a two-year, $9.15 million contract that included $4.3 million in March of 2015. He’s now in position to test the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Britt appeared in 15 games for the Rams and caught 68 passes for 1,002 yards receiving and five touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 receiver out of 119 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
