The Dallas Cowboys claimed CB Corey White off of waivers from the Saints on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.
White, 24, had another year remaining on his four-year, $2.76 million rookie contract when the Saints released him Friday in an move that freed up $1,542,000 in available cap space for New Orleans.
In 2014, White appeared in 15 games and recorded 53 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, a recovery, and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 106 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.
