Cowboys Considering Bringing Back Tony Sparano?

The Miami Dolphins choose to move on without Tony Sparano weeks ago and have already begun to look for their next head coach. Meanwhile things have been pretty quiet regarding Sparano’s future in the NFL until now.

Matt Mosley of Fox Sports Southwest reports that Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is willing to consider adding Sparano to the team coaching staff. Mosley adds that Sparano developed a great relationship with QB Tony Romo which could make him a valuable addition next season.

The idea is interesting as Jason Garrett could use some added influence to the teams offense. Right now everything falls on him but by bringing in Sparano, it would help to shift some of the blame to the coaching staff especially if Garrett relinquishes the play-calling responsibilities to Sparano which Mosley also suggests.
