Cowboys Cut RB Tashard Choice

Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys have made the decision to cut RB Tashard Choice before Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

The move will make room for rookie LB  Bruce Carter who is being activated from the PUP list.

I just want to say thanks to all the great Dallas Cowboy fans,” twitted Choice. “My time in Dallas has come to an end and the best is yet come. God bless.”

Choice wound up being out shined by rookie RB DeMarco Murray last week as he went on to who set the Cowboys record for most rushing yards, 253, in a single game. The Cowboys have been reportedly shopping Choice all the way back to last season but obviously haven’t found any takers. Choice will now have to pass through waivers before he can sign with a team directly.
