Cowboys DB Jakar Hamilton Suspended Four Games

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Cowboys DB Jakar Hamilton has been suspended four games for substances of abuse.

The Cowboys secondary is already thin to begin with Orlando Scandrick also serving a four-game suspension of his own. Hamilton is currently listed as the backup free safety on the Cowboys depth chart.

Hamilton, 24, signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie out of South Carolina State last year. He wound up appearing in three games and recording two tackles after S J.J. Wilcox suffered an MCL sprain last season.
