Once a new CBA is in place teams will have to deal with a new salary cap which has been speculated to be around $120 million. This will obviously have an impact on some teams like the Dallas Cowboys who may find themselves over the cap by $18.9 million as ESPN suggests.
Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com writes that the Cowboys may have to make some cuts and names WR Roy Williams as one player that should be considered. He 2011 salary is set at $9.5 million so he remains a logical target.
The Cowboys have a decent group of receivers to build on so the loss of Williams shouldn’t be that impacting.
