Cowboys & Morris Claiborne Still Discussing Guaranteed Money

ESPN’s Calvin Watkins reports that the current dispute between the Cowboys and first-round pick CB Morris Claiborne is over the total amount of guaranteed money included in his rookie contract.

Watkins adds that this could actually cut into the start of Cowboys training camp if it’s not resolved in the near future.

There’s still a number of early round draft picks that have yet to sign, so this appears to be a pretty common sticking point. Claiborne underwent surgery on wrist a few months ago, but it will be important to get him into camp and prepared for the upcoming season.
