Cowboys Placing DT Brian Price On Injured Reserve With Knee Injury

Cowboys HC Jason Garrett announced that they will place DT Brian Price on season-ending injured reserve after he undergoes knee surgery on Tuesday.

You can expect the Cowboys to add someone to their roster in the coming days.

Price, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio back in May. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Packers later signed him to their practice squad before calling him up for a brief stint on their active roster back in September. Green Bay waived Price as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit coming out of the preseason and was later claimed off of waivers by the Cowboys.

In 2017, Price appeared in eight games for the Cowboys and recorded eight tackles, no sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 96 interior defender out of 117 qualifying players.
