The Dallas Cowboys promoted DB Terrance Mitchell to their active roster on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Mitchell, 23, is a former seventh round pick of the Cowboys back in May of last year. He was unfortunately unable to make the Cowboys’ 53-man roster during his rookie season, but later signed on to the Bears’ pracice squad at the start of the season.
Mitchell managed to make the team coming out of the preseason this year, but has been on and off of the Bears and Cowboys’ practice squads this season.
This season, Mitchell has appeared in five games and recorded one tackle and a pass defense for the Bears.
