Cowboys Promote OL Ryan Seymour To Active Roster

The Dallas Cowboys have promoted OL Ryan Seymour to their active roster on Friday, according to Charean Williams.

This was the expectation for Dallas, as they’ll need some offensive line help with LT Tyron Smith out for Sunday’s game.

Seymour, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. Seattle eventually lost Seymour to the 49ers when San Francisco signed him off of their practice squad during his rookie season.

Seymour bounced around a bit with the Browns and Bears before eventually signing to the Saints practice squad last October. The Giants later signed him to a contract but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Dallas eventually signed him to their practice squad a few months into the regular season.

He hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2014 season when he was playing for the Browns.
