The Dallas Cowboys appear to be promoting WR Vince Mayle to their active roster on Tuesday, according to his agency.

Mayle, 25, was taken in the fourth round of last year’s NFL Draft by the Browns. However, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Cowboys’ practice squad.

Dallas promoted Mayle to their active roster a few times last year but elected to cut him loose at the start of the 2016 season. Mayle was later signed to their practice squad.

In 2015, Mayle was active for one game but did not record a statistic.
