Cowboys Re-Sign DL Aziz Shittu To Practice Squad

The Dallas Cowboys have re-signed DL Aziz Shittu to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to Brandon George.

Here’s the Cowboys updated practice squad:

  1. OT Jake Campos
  2. RB Jordan Chunn
  3. CB Donovan Olumba
  4. LB Kyle Queiro
  5. G Cody Wichmann
  6. DB Tyree Robinson
  7. DT Christian Ringo
  8. RB Darius Jackson
  9. WR Reggie Davis
  10. DL Aziz Shittu

Shittu, 24, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2016. He was waived at the start of the 2016 season and later re-signed to the Eagles’ practice squad.

Philadelphia brought Shittu back on a futures contract last year, but waived him with an injury designation and he spent the year on injured reserve. The Cowboys signed Shittu to their practice squad at the start of the 2018 regular season, but he lasted just a few weeks in Dallas.

During his college career at Stanford, Shittu reorded 77 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks and four pass defenses over the course of 19 games.
