Cowboys Re-Sign LB Mark Nzeocha To Practice Squad, Cut WR Brian Brown

The Dallas Cowboys announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LB Mark Nzeocha to their practice squad and released WR Brian Brown from the unit.

The Cowboys’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. TE Blake Jarwin
  2. S Jameill Showers
  3. TE Richard Ash
  4. G Kadeem Edwards
  5. WR Lance Lenior
  6. DT Lewis Neal
  7. G Dan Skipper
  8. G Nate Theaker
  9. CB Marquez White
  10. LB Mark Nzeocha

Nzeocha, 27, is a former seventh-round pick out of Wyoming by the Cowboys in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was entering the third year of a four-year, $2,344,348 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $615,000 this season when the Cowboys cut him loose this past weekend.

In 2016, Nzeocha was active for six games and recorded three total tackles.
