Cowboys Re-Signing RB Lance Dunbar To A One-Year, $1.75M Deal

Adam Caplan (via Adam Schefter) reports that the Cowboys are re-signing RB Lance Dunbar to a one-year deal worth $1.75 million.

Since the market opened over a week ago, Dunbar met with the Seahawks, 49ers and Bears, but it looks like he felt a return to Dallas was in his best interest.

Dunbar, 26, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in 2012. He wound up signing a one-year, $1.542 million contract with the Cowboys back in April of last year.

However, Dunbar’s season, unfortunately, came to an end after he sustained a torn ACL while returning a kick a month into the season.

In 2015, Dunbar appeared in four games and ran for 67 yards on five carries (13.4 YPC) to go along with 21 receptions for 215 yards receiving. He also contributed 146 kick return yards.
