Cowboys Have Shown Interest In Ndamukong Suh, No Visit Scheduled

According to Jordan Schultz, the Dallas Cowboys have shown interest in free agent DT Ndamukong Suh, but have yet to schedule a visit.

Suh will take his third visit to meet with the Rams on Tuesday after previously meeting with the Saints and Titans. The Seahawks also have some interest in Suh, but have yet to line up a time to meet with him.

Schultz previously reported that Suh wants to take his time with this process and evaluate a “plethora of options” with his family, so it’s possible he’ll take more visits in the coming days.

This is the first reported interest in him since the free agent market officially opened.

Suh, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Lions back in 2010. He spent five years in Detroit before signing a six-year, $114 million contract that included $60 million guaranteed with the Dolphins a few years ago.

Suh was set to make base salaries of $16.985 million (2018), $18.985 million (2019), and $18.36 million (2020) over the remainder of the contract when the Dolphins designated him as a post-June 1 release.

In 2017, Suh appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
