Cowboys Sign DB Danny McCray

The Dallas Cowboys have signed CB Danny McCray to a one-year contract on Thursday, according to Rainer Sabin.

  • Sabin expects McCray to contribute special teams and fill the void left by Dwayne Harris signing with the Giants.

McCray, 27, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in 2010. He spent four years in Dallas before he later signed a one-year contract with the Bears back in March of last year.

In 2014, McCray appeared in 15 games for the Bears and recorded 24 tackles and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 172 total snaps to go along with a solid rating as a run-defender.
