Cowboys Sign DL David Irving Off Of Chiefs’ Practice Squad

The Dallas Cowboys have signed DL David Irving to their active roster off of theĀ Chiefs’ practice squad on Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

This move comes just a day after the Cowboys waived DT Davon Coleman.

Irving, 22, wound up signing on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State just days after this year’s NFL draft. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to their practice squad.

During the preseason, Irving appeared in four games for the Chiefs, but didn’t record a single tackle.
