Cowboys Sign DT Ken Bishop & Release DB Jakar Hamilton

The Dallas Cowboys have made a few roster moves ahead of their Divisional Playoff game against the Packers.

According to Bryan Broaddus, the Cowboys signed DT Ken Bishop to their active roster and released S Jakar Hamilton.

Hamilton, 25, has another year remaining on his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract, which includes a base salary of $585,000 for the 2015 season.

He has appeared in one game in 2014 and played just a single snap.

Bishop, 24, was taken in the seventh round of last year’s NFL Draft. He managed to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was placed on waivers in October.

Bishop has appeared in three games and recorded two tackles for the Cowboys this season.
