Todd Archer of ESPN reports that the Cowboys have signed RB Robert Turbin to a contract on Wednesday.
This move comes a day after Dallas waived RB Christine Michael.
Turbin, 25, is in the final year of his four-year, $2,556,456 rookie contract that included a $456,456 signing bonus. He stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.
He was waived by the Seahawks a few months ago, but Cleveland elected to claim him off of waivers. However, his time with the Browns wound up being disappointing as he fumbled twice in their Week 8 game, which led to him being waived a few days later.
This season, Turbin has appeared in three games and ran for 60 yards on 18 carries (3.3 YPC) to go along with two receptions for eight yards receiving.
