Cowboys Sign Seven Players To Futures Deals

The Dallas Cowboys officially signed seven players to futures contracts on Monday for the 2019 season.

The full list includes:

  1. OT Jake Campos
  2. RB Jordan Chunn
  3. CB Donovan Olumba
  4. LB Kyle Queiro
  5. G Cody Wichmann
  6. DT Aziz Shittu
  7. S Treston Decoud

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Decoud, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Texans back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,649,348 contract when the Texans waived him coming out of the preseason.

The Cowboys later signed Decoud to their practice squad before promoting him to their active roster in November. He later returned to the Cowboys’ practice squad.

In 2017, Decoud appeared in 10 games for the Texans and recorded seven tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.

  1. The Cowboys need a New “OC”
Linehan is holding the Offense Back. He’s too conservative. The Offense has a lot of Weapons, and they are not being used to their potential.
