Cowboys Place G Marcus Martin On IR, Sign Two

The Dallas Cowboys announced that they’ve signed G Jacob Alsadek and WR Darren Carrington to contracts and waived WR Marchie Murdock with an injury designation.

The Cowboys also placed G Marcus Martin on injured reserve.

Martin, 24, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. After three seasons in San Francisco, the 49ers waived Martin last year and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

The Cowboys signed Martin to a contract back in March.

In 2016, Martin appeared in five games for the 49ers.

Alsadek wound up going undrafted out of Arizona back in May. He signed on with the Packers a few days later but was, unfortunately, waived towards the end of the month.

During his four-year college career at Arizona, Alsadek appeared in 48 games and was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention as a Senior.
