Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Cowboys brought in G Kadeem Edwards for a tryout on Monday.
Edwards recently worked out for the Chiefs but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.
Edwards, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2014. He lasted over a year in Tampa Bay before he was cut loose from injured reserve with a settlement a few weeks into the 2015 season.
The Jaguars later added him to their practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve contract. However, he was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Edwards has yet to appear in an NFL game.
