The Dallas Cowboys placed LB DeVonte Holloman on waivers Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
- The move was listed with a failed physical designation.
Holloman, 24, was taken in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Cowboys. However, he sustained a very serious neck injury that led to reports of his career likely being over.
In 2013, he appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded 26 tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery as a rookie. Unfortunately, Holloman hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since that season.
