Cowboys Waive LB Jerrell Harris From I.R. With Injury Settlement

The Dallas Cowboys officially waived LB Jerrell Harris from injured reserve on Wednesday with an injury settlement.

This comes less than a week after the team placed Harris on injured reserve after cleared waivers.

Harris, 26, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Atlanta before he was cut and later signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.

Since then, Harris has played for several teams including the Patriots, Raiders, Chargers, Broncos, and Lions before signing a future/reserve contract with the Cowboys in January. Dallas waived with the injury designation on Wednesday.
