Cowboys Waive LB Mister Alexander

The Dallas Cowboys officially placed LB Mister Alexander on waivers Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Alexander, 26, signed on with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in 2011.

He spent the first two and half years with the Texans before he later caught on with the Buccaneers. The Cowboys added him to their practice squad in December and later signed him to a future/reserve contract in January.

Alexander last appeared in an NFL game during the 2012 season while playing for the Texans. That year, he recorded five tackles over the course of six games.
