Cowboys Worked Out DE Damontre Moore, No Plans To Sign Him As Of Now

According to Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan, the Dallas Cowboys worked out free agent DE Damontre Moore this week.

However, the Cowboys reportedly do not have any plans to sign him to a contract as of now.

This is the first reported interest in Moore since he was waived by the Raiders a few weeks ago.

Moore, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He lasted over two years in New York before he was waived in December of last year.

The Dolphins elected to claim him off of waivers from the Giants. However, he was waived a few months ago. The Raiders signed Moore to a contract in May before they elected to place him on waivers a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Moore has appeared in 14 games and recorded 27 tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble and a recovery for the Giants and Utah. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 75 edge defender out of 110 qualifying players.
