Cowboys Worked Out WR Marquez North

The Dallas Cowboys brought in free agent WR Marquez North for a workout on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.

North, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in May of last year. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason with an injury designation and spent the entire year on their injured reserve list.

The Rams elected to cut North loose last week.

During his three-year college career at Tennessee, North caught 74 passes for 874 yards receiving (11.8 YPR) to go along with five touchdowns over the course of 24 games.
