Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys are scheduled to work out free agent QB Ryan Nassib on Thursday.

This is the first reported interest in Nassib since the free agent market opened several months ago.

Dallas just recently claimed QB Zac Dysert off of waivers from the Cardinals, but it appears as though they’re still looking at some available options.

Nassib, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He played out his rookie contract with New York and is testing the open market for the first time in his career.

In total, Nassib has appeared in five games and completed nine of 10 passing attempts for 128 yards and one touchdown.
