Todd Archer of ESPN reports that the Cowboys are working out rookie WR Richard Mullaney.

Dallas lost rookie WR Chris Brown to  a broken foot during Monday’s practice.

Mullaney, 23, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in May. However, he lasted just a few months in Houston before he was waived a few weeks ago.

During his college career between Oregon State and Alabama, Mullaney caught 121 passes for 1,550 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of 34 games.
