Report: Cullen Jenkins Will Meet With The 49ers & Raiders This Week

Ian Rapoport reports that free agent DL Cullen Jenkinsrecent meeting with the Seattle Seahawks “went well.

Jenkins is scheduled meet with the 49ers today and Raiders on Wednesday. Other speculative options could include the Giants and Packers.

We have Jenkins currently listed as the No. 82 best available player in our recently updated Top 100 Free Agents list.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that free agent DL Cullen Jenkins is scheduled to visit the Seahawks on Monday and 49ers on Tuesday.

Jenkins finished up his meeting with the Giants and is reportedly drawing interest from as many as six NFL teams.

A report from Friday mentioned that the Packers are not believed to be one of these teams.

Derrick Gunn of CSNPhilly reports that a league source has informed him that former Eagles DL Cullen Jenkins is meeting with the New York Giants today.

Mike Garafolo adds that he’s been informed that the meeting will be held tomorrow. Garafolo adds that the Giants are currently the only team to show interest in Jenkins so far.

Ian Rapoport expects Jenkins to find interest from the “elite” teams in the NFL and should have more visits lined up in the coming days.

The Giants parted ways with Chris Canty, which was believed to be a cap decision, so they could use some defensive line help.

Jenkins, 32, was recently released by the Eagles and is currently free to sign with a new team. A previous report indicated that he would be open to returning to Green Bay, but we haven’t heard anything regarding any reciprocal interest to this point.
