Dallas Clark Out For The Season?

Week 6 was a terrible week for NFL tight ends. Antonio Gates, Chris Cooley and Todd Heap all are injured or dealing with concussions and now ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts will be without Dallas Clark indefinitely and possibly even for the remainder of the season. Schefter mentions that the injury is a wrist or hand injury.

The Colts have been struggling to get healthy players on the field this season. Even the Colts wide receivers have had a hard time staying in the lineup. Pierre Garcon missed the first four weeks of the season and Austin Collie hasn’t practiced in the last two weeks. Joseph Addai has a shoulder problem which is looking like it’s pretty serious so losing Clark would be an even bigger set back for the teams offense.

If the Colts lose anyone else it could be the perfect opportunity for some of the other teams in the AFC South to edge out Indianapolis.
