Dallas Considered Favorite To Host 2018 NFL Draft

Field Yates of ESPN, citing league sources, reports that Dallas has emerged as a favorite to host the 2018 NFL draft at the Cowboys’ new training facility in Frisco, Texas.

Philadelphia remains in the mix to host the draft for the second consecutive year with Kansas City and Green Bay both considered long shots.

According to Yates, an official decision is not expected to made until after this year’s draft.

Yates mentions that Dallas is “pushing to host the draft” and they have the infrastructure in place to get it done with their impressive new training facility.

The NFL elected to take the draft on the road a few years ago when they agreed to host the event in Chicago. The draft returned to the Windy City last year, but the NFL felt it was best to consider another location in 2017 and eventually settled on Philadelphia.

It’s likely that the league will continue to move the draft around in the coming years.

We’ll have more regarding where the 2018 draft will be hosted as the news is available.
