Jay Glazer of FOX Sports mentions that the Raiders initially believed RB Darren McFadden would be 2-4 weeks because a high-ankle sprain.
Since then, Oakland hasn’t offered up a timetable for his return and haven’t even ruled him out for Week 10, even though the consensus is that he miss Sunday’s game against the Saints.
High-ankle sprains typically require 2-4 weeks of recovery, so this seems like a strong possibility. Marcel Reece figures to handle the workload for the time being as backup RB Mike Goodson has a high-ankle sprain of his own to deal with.
