David Garrard Retiring As A Member Of Jaguars

Veteran QB David Garrard mentioned during an interview with Jaguars Today on 1010XL 92.5 (Facebook link) that he has decided to retire from the NFL, and plans do so as a member of the Jaguars.

Garrard, 35, was taken in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Jaguars. He spent the first the first 10 years of his career in Jacksonville before he was released at the start of the 2011 season.

Garrard later caught on with the Dolphins before eventually joining the Jets.

Over the course of his 12-year, Garrard threw for 16,003 yards while completing 61.6 precent of his passes to go along with 89 touchdowns and 54 interceptions. He also contributed 1,746 yards rushing and 17 rushing touchdowns.
