Deal Between Raiders & LB Zach Brown “Looks Like A No-Go Right Now”

Adam Caplan, citing a source, reports that it “looks like a no-go right now” for free agent LB Zach Brown to sign with the Raiders.

However, Caplan mentions that the situation can still change moving forward.

Brown visited with the Raiders on Wednesday but it appears that he is leaving without a contract. It is worth mentioning that he has also had talks with the Colts about a potential agreement.

On Wednesday, a source told Josina Anderson of Brown’s visit with the Raiders: “We expect this to be the first of a few visits, for now.

Brown, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Titans back in 2012. He finished his four-year rookie contract with Tennessee before signing on with the Bills as an unrestricted free agent last year.

He finished a one-year, $1,250,000 with the Bills and is once again testing the open market.

In 2016, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and recorded 143 total tackles, four sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles, and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 17 overall linebackers out of 87 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
