DeAngelo Hall Open Renegotiating His Contract To Remain In Washington

Chris Russell tweets that Washington CB DeAngelo Hall mentioned that would be willing to renegotiate his contract so that he could be back with the team next season.

Whatever I gotta do to be here,” said Hall. “I’m gonna try to get it done.”

Pro Football Focus has Hall rated as the No. 70 best corner in the league this season, but it has become increasingly clear that his coverage is in decline and his susceptibility to draw flags only adds to him being a potential liability for the team. This was quite evident during Sunday’s game.

Still, if Hall is willing to offer a reasonable discount, he could offer them some depth at the cornerback position. It would make sense to Washington a better long-term solution, even though Hall is only 29.
