Decision In RB Adrian Peterson’s Grievance Expected To Come “Quickly”

Citing sources, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that the arbitrator in Vikings RB Adrian Peterson‘s grievance seeking reinstatement has told reporters that a decision will come “quickly.”

  • Mortensen adds that the grievance was heard via a conference call, and lasted approximately thirty minutes.

It was assumed that this hearing would be conducted without the parties meeting in person.  What is new information however, is that a quick decision is expected.

Even if Peterson were reinstated, it remains to be seen if any additional punishment will be handed down.  Additionally, it remains to be seen if the Vikings intend to use Peterson this season should he get reinstated.
