DeMarcus Ware Interested In Playing For Broncos Or Cowboys Next Year

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that veteran OLB DeMarcus Ware remains interested in returning to the Broncos next season, but he’s also leaving the door open for him to play for the Cowboys in 2017.

Both are great options and make sense for Ware, considering he’s played his entire career with these two franchises.

The Broncos placed Ware on season-ending injured reserve with a back injury towards the end of the season.

Ware, 34, is a former first-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2005. He spent nine years in Dallas before signing on with the Broncos in 2014.

During the offseason, Ware agreed to a restructured contract with the Broncos included a $ million base salary for the 2016 season to go along with a $2 million signing bonus and another $3.5 million that was available in incentives.

Ware is in line to be an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Ware appeared in 10 games and recorded 15 tackles, four sacks and a pass defense for the Broncos.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
