DeSean Jackson Doesn’t Appear To Have Any Serious Damage To Shoulder

According to Jason Cole of the Bleacher Report, Redskins WR DeSean Jackson woke up “sore” following a shoulder injury he sustained during Sunday’s win over the Jaguars.

However, Cole adds that despite the soreness, it doesn’t appear as though Jackson has any serious structural damage.

The Redskins announced after Sunday’s game that Jackson has a sprained AC joint. The concern for Jackson was that he could have a fracture that would keep him out for an extended period of time, but it appears as though this isn’t the case.

Even with Jackson out of the lineup, Washington manhandled the Jaguars. However, things should be much more difficult in Week 3 as they take on Jackson’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
