Devin Thomas Released By Washington, Next Stop?

The Washington Redskins have made the decision to release WR Devin Thomas after not finding any teams that was interested in trading for the former second-round pick.

Mike Shanahan was said to be disappointed with Thomas’s work ethic and approach to the game so the team made the decision to go their separate way Saturday. Thomas is still a raw talent that has shown some promise on special teams which could end being the factor that entices a team to take a chance on him.

Thankfully for Thomas, there is still a good number of teams who happen to be in need of wide receiver help. Thomas still has to clear the waiver process before he becomes a free agent but here are some of the teams in need of wide receiver help: Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, St Louis Rams, and the Cleveland Browns just to name a few.
