Dez Bryant Expected To Be Available For Week 1

Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas joined SportsCenter this afternoon and mentioned that he would be “stunned” if Dez Bryant is not ready for the Cowboys season opener.

“This is really just a soreness issue,” said MacMahon, referring to Bryant’s patalla tendinitis.

Bryant sustained a sprained patella tendon during Mondays practice. The Cowboys will hold Bryant out for the remainder of the preseason. Having Bryant back for opening day would really be a boost, especially when you consider that Miles Austin and Jason Witten could miss some time with injuries of their own.
