According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, Pitta will be placed on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday.

However, Zrebiec reports that Pitta has yet to make a decision about whether he’ll retire from the NFL.

The Ravens had until today at 4pm EST to activate Pitta from the PUP list or his 2015 season will be over.

Pitta, 30, has base salaries of $4 million (2015), $5 million (2016), $5.5 million (2017-2018) coming his way over the remainder of the contract.

In 2014, Pitta was limited to appearing in three games and catching 16 passes for 125 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
