Dolphins Add DE Dion Jordan To Roster, Waive WR Damian Williams

The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday that they have added DE Dion Jordan to their 53-man roster and placed WR Damian Williams on waivers.

Jordan was originally suspended for four games. However after his suspension was lifted by the NFL, Jordan again violated the NFL’s Substance Policy again and received another suspension from the league that kept him out until October.

The Dolphins traded up to No. 3 overall back in 2012 to select Jordan, but he hasn’t come anywhere close to living up to his draft status.

He still has three years remaining on his four-year, $20.572 million contract. Last year, Jordan played 339 snaps for the Dolphins and recorded 26 tackles and two sacks over the course of 16 games.
