Seahawks Expected To Sign WR Braylon Edwards

According to Dave Softy of Sportsradio 950AM, the Seattle Seahawks will sign WR Braylon Edwards at some point today.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter adds that Edwards will receive a one-year deal from the team.

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post writes that the Miami Dolphins will most likely pass on signing free agent WR Braylon Edwards.

Don’t expect the Braylon Edwards signing to happen,” writes Volin. “Just kicking the tires on a big-name player, nothing more.

New head coach Joe Philbin mentioned that their interest in Edwards was more due diligence than anything else. Edwards is looking to catch on with a team after visiting with the Dolphins and Seahawks in recent weeks, but this isn’t the best time of year to be getting your first looks from NFL teams.
