Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports Dolphins C Mike Pouncey is done for the season after suffering a foot injury during Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
Pouncey reportedly has his left foot stabilized in a boot upon leaving the stadium.
Miami will likely place Pouncey on season-ending injured reserve at some point in the next few days.
Pouncey, 26, is in the first year of his six-year, $52.438 million contract that includes $22 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $6 million this season and another $9 million in 2016.
This season, Pouncey appeared in 14 games and recorded Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 7 center out of 41 qualifying players.
