The Miami Dolphins officially claimed OT Donald Hawkins off of waivers from the Cowboys on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Dallas cut Hawkins loose this past weekend as they trimmed their roster to create some room for other additions.
Hawkins, 23, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster and was later claimed the Browns. His stay in Cleveland was short lived as he was once again cut and claimed off waivers by the Cowboys.
Hawkins has yet to appear in an NFL game.
