Dolphins Have Expressed Interest In Duron Harmon & J.J. Wilcox Among Others

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are interested in free agent safeties J.J. Wilcox and Duron Harmon.

According to Jackson, some other free agent targets for the Dolphins includes DE/OLB Alex Okafor, DT Terrell McClain, and possibly DE Lawrence Guy.

Harmon, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He has played out his four-year, $2,711,100 contract with the Patriots and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time.

In 2016, Harmon appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and recorded 29 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble, a recovery and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 safety out of 89 qualifying players.

Wilcox, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He has played out his four-year, $2,811,068 contract with the Cowboys and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Wilcox appeared in 13 games and recorded 49 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 27 safety out of 89 qualifying players.
