Dolphins Hosted OL Mike Johnson For A Visit

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Dolphins hosted former Falcons OL Mike Johnson for a visit this week.

Miami reportedly hosted a number of offensive linemen for visits this week, but ultimately elected to sign Jeff Linkenbach and Jacques McClendon to contracts on Wednesday.

Johnson, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Falcons back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the team before receiving a one-year extension in March of last year.

Last year, he didn’t appear in a single game after he sustained a season-ending Lisfranc injury that forced the Falcons to place him on injured reserve.
