The Miami Dolphins announced that their visit with free agent DE Jabaal Sheard concluded without them reaching an agreement on a contract.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that free agent DE Jabaal Sheard will visit with the Dolphins in the coming days.
The Colts have come up as a potential option for Sheard.
Sheard, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Browns back in 2011. He spent four years in Cleveland before signing on with the Patriots in 2015.
In 2016, Sheard appeared in 15 games for the Patriots and recorded 33 tackles, five sacks, and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 36 edge defender out of 109 qualifying players.
